Will someone please make (and update) a thermometer graphic showing the current donation level and appropriate indices for monocle, pipe, cane, topper, blanchement, double Gibson in cut crystal, cape, spats, Bently w/driver, buxom mistress w/ pearls, satchel with money peeking out of/fluttering around it, roll of parchments labeled "STOCKS" &ct?

Please?

The current donation amount is $X dollars, so we have a little bit of work to do.

Come on, folks. You can spare a few bucks for these homeless fuckers.

Sell some shit on eBay! Steal a purse on the el! Whore yourselves!

It's Christmas, after all!

Confidential to "steve": I will begin work on this donation thermometer next week. Please look forward to a crude digital rendering of your G.D. monoclemeter.

Not to steal anyone's thunder, but here's a prototype I was able to work up during lunch hour:

It's a functional monocle?

Can we get a picture of the monocle alone, too?

It's functional. It's prescription--my prescription.

I forgot to mention that at that time, I only needed any vision correxion in my left eye--hence, the monocle idea.

No pictures. It's a pretty lame monocle.

And I will not wear it if the fundraising goal is not met.

It's no skin off my nose (or eye socket) if you don't meet it.

In fact, I will pledge to match whatever is donated up to $500. At that point, Hull House/SW Chi PADS will be guaranteed of getting something, even if the donations don't add up, and no one will have a good reason to cry if a grand is not raised.

We have made excellent progress with respect to donations. I will provide a specific update of the total donations just as soon as I grasp concepts of basic mathemetics and can tabulate your up-to-date donations.

In the meantime! Keep giving!

Hawaii is four or five islands. I don't know about you, but I know for a fact that I cannot be four or five islands.

I was under the impression that Hawaii was the big island's name as well.

However, I could be, at most, 2 to 3 islands.

You might wanna ditch the 'two or' part since 90% of people have a first name as their middle name. Just stick with three.

It takes no imagination to imagine where you would keep a dynamic little thermometer.

If you want something done, you gotta do it yourself:
