While looking through blogs for a particular OOP Sun City Girls album, I found 15 of them.

It was in 1990 that Alan Trench's PWC and Stapleton decided to market a CD version of the album as Whitehouse/Nurse With Wound for commercial reasons and it was subsequently released by them without my consultation or permission. The proof of the greed is that they could have asked me for the tapes which I would have provided - buttheir haste proved too great. The master tapes were, and always have been, in my possession - when PWC (disguised as United Dairies') went ahead with the CD release they simply mastered it from a vinyl copy of the album. That's why the 'mix' sounds so different (and so disappointingly poor, in my opinion) because, to disguise its origins, reverb and other effects were (rather clumsily) added to it. Susan Lawly decided to include 'part one' on the 1990 compilation "Cream of The Second Coming" so that at least it was available for people to hear in its proper form. With access here to the original recordings you will notice the enormous difference. It was memorably recorded on Guy Fawke's night 1980 and fireworks played a role in creating some of the sounds.

I hope these haven't been posted already. My apologies for the sendspace-ignorance.

Maximum thankage fer this. And for the NWW too, enframed.

Potentially stupid question for Señor H-GM: which versions have you posted here? Are these the originals that Bennet refers to (as featured on Anthology 1 Come Organisation Archives 1979-1981)?

Calling all cars! I'm desperately looking for a zip of The Ex live on WFMU. Could any of you fine individuals help me with this? I'll tell people that you're best person in the world.

I am assuming these are the original recordings if I'm reading Bennett's post accurately. It's weird, though: he states Steven Stapleton produced the long track (track 2) when the "long" track is actually track one. To my ears, it sounds like track one is Nurse With Wound and track 2 is Whitehouse. Of course they could've produced each other's material, but to me they sound like two separate unique entities representative of the creators.

I've probably muddled things up for you even more. My apologies. Just enjoy!

Anyone have any old Black Sun Ensemble, pre-Elemental Forces? Lambent Flame would be awesome. I'm sure all the tapes are out of print.

I realize I'm probably at the wrong forum, but who knows.

Yeahh- I came across that, but it seems that you can only stream through Real, which I don't have. The video fucking rules though. I feel so behind- I had no idea that The Ex are the coolest band on the planet.

I really just want to be able to burn a CD of it. Any of you have MP3 versions of it? Or do you know if they put it out or anything?

Thanks-

Merry Christ Mass Everyone on the Sendspace Thread

Haven't contributed in a while, but the last few days have brought some amazing stuff out, for sure. This just arrived in the mail today, and since it's a limited CD-R, I thought I'd share it with y'all.

"Limited Edition Signed CDR. 52 minutes. A collection of musical pieces designed to be used on certain SRB film projects, most of which have not yet seen the light of day, though a few have. There is just a sprinkling of guitar on these pieces. Other instrumentation includes piano, keyboards, strings, electronics, percussion, shortwave broadcasts, samples, and other ingredients of SRB's approach to "whorecestration"."

Support this ,mother fucker, buy some stuff......

I hate to ask without being able to upload anything, but does anybody have a copy of the Niagara Niagara soundtrack they can upload? I can gmail stuff in return, but I can't do those long sendspace uploads that have been mentioned.

I though I saw it on here, and the search function said it was. Went through every page. Day of Niagara is not Niagara Niagara. Huh.

Got a couple old ones. Maybe by Sunday, if I manage to motivate myself.

This is probably lame of me to post, but I rarely get a chance to contribute shit soo, yeah- here.

Here's my highschool band called Fra Pandolf. We started out in College Station, Texas in 2002 at the age of 16 or so and ended in Denton, Texas in 2006. I put this together due to someone writing us and asking for shit that we had recorded. I posted a bulletin with this blurb-

--------

A nice guy named Peter recently wrote the Fra Pandolf myspace and asked if we could send him any music that we had recorded. I decided to put together a mix spanning everything we did. It's been over a year since I've really sat down and listened to any of this stuff. While I can say that my tastes in music do not lean towards the music we made any more, it was fun to look at it as what sheltered white kids (that knew dick about tone, sound and/or structure) from College Station, TX trying to make punk rock sounds like.

Chalked full of inappropriately spastic / roll-happy drums, shitty guitar and bass tones (solid-state? Gasp!), uneasy and ambiguous lyrics- the material on this spans from the adolescent post-punk-ish shit that we wrote as a 3-piece to the 4-piece failed recording attempts at shoegaze-postrock-punk. All in all, it's not too bad. I realized today that I don't hate it nearly as much as I thought.

Yup!

http://www.sendspace.com/file/ytmpt3

----------

It's not even really worth downloading unless you enjoy listening to shit that embarrasses the ones that wrote it.

Yup!
