Are there any order restrictions on customers outside of the United States?

Customers outside of the United States must have a minimum order value of 100.00 USD, excluding any shipping/freight, customs, taxes, duties & fees.

What countries does Electrical.com deliver to?

Electrical.com can deliver to any country, with the exception of any countries with international trade embargoes sanctioned by the United States government.

What shipping methods does Electrical.com use?

Electrical.com gives customers the choice of setting up their own shipping/freight, or having Electrical.com organize transport. Electrical.com’ preferred shipper for international packages are UPS and DHL. For large orders requiring a freight shipment, Electrical.com uses numerous carriers including UPS Freight for North America, and DHL Freight for all other international shipments. An exception is made for shipments made to Canada, which are generally sent via USPS or UPS. Customers will be responsible for payment of all customs, taxes & duties on all shipments, whether organized by the customer or by Electrical.com.

How will the goods ordered be packaged?

Depending on the dimensions of the shipment all product will either be packaged in a box or palletized. Paperwork included with shipments are a copy of the packing slip along with any declaration paperwork required for clearance of customs. Electrical.com is not responsible for any border security manipulation of packages. Electrical.com maintains a cargo insurance policy in the event that shipments are damaged in transit.

What payment options are offered for international customers?

Electrical.com requires payment via Wire Transfer from all customers outside of North America. A wire transfer fee is added to all international orders to offset fees charged by the sender’s bank. Wire instructions will be provided by a sales representative upon finalized receipt of a purchase order from the customer. For customers in Canada and Mexico, Electrical.com accepts all major credit cards as payment along with Wire Transfers.
