The TeSys D series LC1D09 contactor is a 3-pole IEC magnetic contactor rated for 9 A (AC-3) at up to 690 VAC, designed for motor control and power switching applications in industrial and commercial environments. As part of Schneider Electric’s long-established TeSys D family, the LC1D platform has been widely deployed in control panels, OEM machinery, HVAC systems, conveyors, and pumping applications for decades. The series is recognized for its compact footprint, high electrical durability, and consistent performance in demanding duty cycles. The LC1D09 model supports motor horsepower ratings suitable for small to medium three-phase motors and is commonly paired with TeSys LRD thermal overload relays for coordinated motor protection.


The LC1D09 contactor features screw clamp or spring terminal options, DIN rail or panel mounting capability, and a variety of coil voltage selections for integration into 24 V, 120 V, 230 V, and other standard control circuits. With utilization categories including AC-1, AC-3, and AC-4, the device is engineered for reliable switching of resistive and inductive loads. The TeSys D series is designed to meet IEC 60947 and UL/CSA standards, providing compliance for global installations. Auxiliary contact blocks, mechanical interlocks, and timing modules can be added to expand functionality in reversing starters and automated control assemblies.
